Meriaura Group acquires a solar power systems provider Rasol
Meriaura Group Oyj acquires Rasol Oy’s stock through a share exchange. On December 1, 2023, Rasol, one the leading Finnish providers of solar electricity and real estate energy solutions, will join Meriaura Group’s renewable energy business area.
Together with Meriaura Energy Oy, which supplies large scale renewable energy solutions, Rasol expands the offering of Meriaura Group’s Renewable Energy business. As a part of larger, publicly listed corporation, Rasol gains stronger shoulders for it’s next growth leap.

An approximately 3,000 m² solar thermal field enables the replacement of 2,410 MWh of former gas-heated heat with renewable heat on Narbonne’s city network, managed by a subsidiary of Dalkia.
On behalf of newHeat, Meriaura Energy constructed most of the solar plant, from the solar collector field to the outlet of the heat exchanger to the storage thermal tank. Over 200 of our collectors ensure a high energy yield, reducing 510 tons of CO2 emissions annually from the city’s district heating system.

Meriaura Energy to deliver 4,5 MW solar thermal plant for a greenhouse operator in southern France.
Meriaura Energy has signed an agreement with Serres Vermeil Sarl, part of Coopérative Sud Roussillon to deliver a 5800 m2 plant to Palau-del-vidre. The project will be delivered in co-operation with Eiffage Énergie Systèmes. This is the first greenhouse heating project for Meriaura Energy and very exciting for the team. Industrial decarbonization is essential for achieving global climate targets and reducing the impact of climate change.
